Brian's Rick Steves' Tour of Spain Scrapbook

Breakfast in the lobby – yogurt, cheese, slices of meat, bread and one cup of coffee. Then off to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, a horse training/breeding facility.
We greeted mostly friendly stallions in their stalls as one, sensing my awkwardness around horses, began nibbling my shoulder. I laughed, but I was afraid.

After this our guide led us to a corral full of pregnant white mares all wanting human affection and then showed us the veterinary facilities.

From horses to sherry – we drove to Jerez and toured a sherry bodega after which we were treated to a lunch of tapas including Spanish omelet, olives, tuna fish sandwiches with the crust removed, and potato chips. Annie learned about placing a slice of orange in her sherry.
